Why work with Alli Cole Travel instead of booking on my own?
Working with Alli Cole Travel eliminates the stress and time you would spend navigating the internet piecing together your own itinerary. We take pride in creating outstanding experiences by going beyond expectations. In doing this, we build personal relationships with our clients so that we can become experts in your travel style and travel dreams and, ultimately, create your perfect vacation. Similarly, we have personal relationships with hotels, resorts, cruise lines and tour operators all over the globe. Many of our preferred partners offer our clients extra amenities such as complimentary breakfast, spa and resort credits, room upgrades (if available), early check-in and late check-out. During your travels, we are available to assist with any issues that may arise.
Are there fees associated with booking your services?
Alli Cole Travel charges a consultation fee to begin the planning process. This fee covers research and booking for all aspects of a trip. The fee will be set after our Discover call and varies from trip to trip depending on the amount of research and time needed. We charge a nominal fee for late booking requests (less than 60 days prior to your departure). If you would like a hotel booked and know where you would like to go, we will waive our fees.
I know what hotel I want to book and do not need additional planning services. Can you still assist with this booking?
Absolutely! Alli Cole Travel is happy to assist with simple hotel bookings at no additional cost.
Can you assist with booking our flights?
Yes! Brownell has an Air Desk who acts as an air concierge service for our clients providing a seamless experience. If you are interested in using their services, Alli Cole Travel will facilitate the introduction. The Air Desk researches the best schedules and fares and helps with involuntary schedule changes, flight delays, flight cancellations and lost baggage. There is a 24-hour emergency service desk for any problems that arise outside of business hours.
The Air Desk fees are as follows:
• $50/ticket for Domestic, Mexico, Canada and Caribbean (excluding Cuba) with a $200 max per family (family on the same record/flight)
• $100/ticket for International and Cuba with a $400 max per family (family on the same record/flight)
Do you recommend travel insurance and can you assist with purchasing a policy?
YES! We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip as it will provide peace of mind while traveling and protect your investment. Brownell has an Insurance Desk that is managed by a travel insurance expert, Laura. If you choose to use Brownell’s Insurance Desk, Laura will work with you to choose the best policy at the best rate for your trip.
Can you help with a last minute booking?
We sure can! We completely understand the need for a last minute getaway. Alli Cole Travel charges a small fee for last minute bookings but we are happy to help find the best availability for your trip.
Can you help with a booking through AirBnb or VRBO?
We do not work with rental websites such as VRBO and AirBnb. We have an existing network of villa and rental homes through our partnerships with accredited local brokers who can ensure the quality of the property.
What happens if I run into issues while traveling?
We are here and ready to assist. Please reach out to us if you experience any bumps in the road during your travels. Before you depart, we will make sure you have local contacts for your hotel, tour operator or guide (when applicable).
